Last week in my membership club, Nourished 365, I held a Coaching Call to help my members cope with the mindset around food at Christmas.

We hopped on a Zoom call (which I was using well before Covid hit, might I tell you!), and had a cosy chat about common concerns with Christmas.

I know it should be the ‘most wonderful time of the year’ and all that (and I do love Christmas), but I also know we can really struggle with giving ourselves permission to relax and enjoy ourselves around food.

When trying to move away from the dieting mentality of restriction, Christmas can be a real time of anxiety. Where we don’t trust ourselves to be in control around all the incredible delights that are absolutely everywhere!

I help women get to a place where they can be in control of their cravings. To be able to find joy around savouring favourite foods (including shop-bought chocolates), rather than just guzzling down everything in sight, and having to cope with feelings of guilt and shame.

It’s not easy, and it takes time and patience. While I can’t just click my fingers and make it happen for you, I can share incredible recipes that are going to help you enjoy your Christmas without so much of the guilt.
