Wishing you a really Happy New Year!

As one year ends and a new decade begins, take some time to reflect

Not only is it the last day of the year, but it’s also the last day of the decade! It’s quite a significant date and the perfect time to take stock of what changes you’ve experienced over the last 10 years. I’d like you to think of your intentions for the year ahead and set yourself some goals – whether that be related to your health and wellbeing or any other areas of your life.

Journal on the last decade

I’ve mentioned the benefits of journaling in a previous video. You may be surprised how therapeutic it can be to get your thoughts out of your head and written down in front of you. You could buy yourself a pretty notebook or work on it on a computer or tablet if that’s more appealing. Try using colour, stickers or photos to make it visually appealing and make it something you want to work on.

Reflect over the last 10 years and really think about everything you’ve been through:

  • What’s changed?
  • What have you achieved?
  • What difficulties did you encounter?

Then look forward and think about what you would like the next 10 years hold for you:

  • What would you like to accomplish?
  • What areas of your life could do with more improvements?
  • What small steps can you take to feel happier, healthier and more nourished?

A little about me…

It’s incredible when I think back over all the changes that have taken place in my life over the last 10 years. At the start of the decade I had just had my first child and was soon to have my second. I had also just qualified as a nutritional therapist and was starting out on my new career path which has seen me grow from taking on my very first client to working with thousands of women in my continually growing business, which I am so immensely proud of.

And I’m not stopping yet! I’ve got a massive vision for my brand and I hope you’ll join me on the journey! 20/01/20 sees the launch of my brand new 5 day challenge called ‘Dump the Diet’ which can help you stop the endless cycle of dieting and allow you to have a happy and healthy relationship with food. The new year will also see changes as I’ll be rebranding to ‘You are Nourished’. I will be focusing on three clear areas: food, mindset and self-care in my continued goal to help women become more nourished.  I have so many exciting new things planned for the year ahead so there is plenty to stick around for!

So over to you…

Take some time for you and really reflect on what you’ve been through and think about what you want to achieve in the years ahead. Let me know your intentions for the next 10 years and what you are hoping to accomplish!
